Mallacoota Inlet is the heart of Victoria's Wilderness Coast in Far East Gippsland. To find us follow the Princes Highway to Genoa just 14 km from the Victoria/NSW border. We are 23 km off the highway approximately halfway between Melbourne and Sydney and an easy four hour drive from the ACT.
For many years holiday makers referred to Mallacoota as Victoria's "best kept secret", but not any more. The word is out and Mallacoota is fast becoming one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations.
You will be enchanted by the natural beauty of this pristine waterway with many secluded coves, steep banks, rocky shorelines and sandy beaches. This ensuring sheltered safe anchorage from all wind directions. There are 10 jetties dotted around the waterway. Many are only accessible by boat. All jetties have picnic tables and either gas or wood fired BBQs, 8 have toilets. These facilities are all well maintained by Parks Victoria.
